Event description The ASPIRE Network is aimed at primary and special schools who would like to develop opportunities to raise the aspirations of pupils and their parents. The Network is FREE to all Ealing primary and special schools.

Lead by the School Partnerships and Enrichment Team, the first network meeting was held on 14/3/17 where 10 schools agreed some practical ways to take this forward, coordinated by the extended services team.

An action plan is in development and schools have agreed that there are multiple benefits of tackling this agenda collaboratively.

The network complements the ASPIRE toolkit which was designed to support schools in practical ways to broaden pupils experience and exposure to the world of work and give them the opportunity to:

- Meet people who inspire them
- Experience places that energise & motivate them
- Connect day to day learning to future work possibilities
- Undertake projects that stretch and challenge them
- Achieve more and aim higher
Training objectives -To support schools to use the ASPIRE toolkit back in school
-To collaborate and identify practical projects schools can support each other with, coordinated by the School Partnerships and Enrichment Team
- To potentially identify funding to support the work with a focus on raising the profile of STEM subjects
- To work with key organisations who will support the ASPIRE network and the development of raising aspirations across Ealing schools
