Event description Briefing to inform participants about female genital mutilation (FGM), the Mandatory Duty to report FGM and how to develop a whole school approach to raise awareness of staff, pupils and parents of FGM, the law and what they can do. 
Training objectives To inform participants about: - what FGM is and the health consequences - FGM & the law (including the Mandatory Duty to report) - how to engage with parents - resources available to teach pupils in primary and secondary about FGM
