Event description

This course will cover: · How to recognise the signs of child abuse · How to respond to suspicions or disclosures · Be clear about your schools policy and priorities · Examine roles and responsibilities·Explore appropriate conduct at work to avoid false accusations. It is important that people who work with children should be able to recognise the signs of abuse and be clear about the appropriate procedures to follow. Support staff may be in the "front line" in detecting abuse.This workshop is designed to enable staff to develop knowledge and understanding in a relaxed setting.
