Event code SCH 20/214
Event description It's not easy surviving the stresses and strains of the modern school environment. This state of the art 'survive and thrive' programme provides deep and lasting support for Headteachers who need to stay focused and healthy through demanding times.

Delivered by an award-winning consultancy who deliver coaching and training programmes that focus on improving executive performance whilst building personal sustainability and resilience. Their approach is to support stressed and over-worked Headteachers by giving them a powerful ‘tool kit’ of psychological models to enable them to take control of difficult situations and to stay positive even when they're being stretched to their limit.

Spaced over three sessions over three months, this course will enable Headteachers to:

• Develop a strong sense of being valued and supported.
• Master breathing techniques that allow you to lower your heart rate and blood pressure.
• Learn how to thrive after failure and during difficult times.
• Manage difficult and stressful work relationships while staying calm and positive.

£75 per participant per session. Commitment for 3 sessions required. Total course fees: £225 per person.

Resilience for Headteachers Part 1 to be held on Thursday, the 31st of October 2019, 09:00 to 12:00 hrs
Resilience for Headteachers Part 2 to be held on Thursday, the 12th of December 2019, 09:00 to 12:00 hrs
Venue: Montpelier Primary School
Training objectives Develop Resilience. And how is Resilience developed?

There are no quick fixes. Building strength and flexibility takes time, but luckily there is a substantial body of reliable scientific research to draw upon. The field of positive psychology and neuroscience is showing us how to 're-wire' both the mind and body into a healthier and more resilient state. We bundle all these techniques into a single powerful package that enables senior managers not just to 'survive' difficult times but to use their experiences to grow and 'thrive'.
