| Event description | As part of the overall judgment on the quality of the school’s leadership and management, Ofsted evaluate the effectiveness the governing board in holding the leadership and management of the school to account. This training session, aimed at governors, will give an overview of the requirements of the new Ofsted framework (September 2021) with a focus on the primary curriculum / early reading and clarify the role of the GB in relation to this aspect. As a result, governors will be equipped with knowledge, skills and practical tips to effectively execute their responsibilities and engage with inspectors during an inspection. The session is targeted at governors from all primary school settings, including maintained, academies and free schools. This session will be run by Clare Rees, Ealing’s Principal Quality and Partnership Lead 3-11. |
