ECT - WELCOME SESSION

Event description The welcome event is an opportunity for Ealing Council to welcome Early Career Teachers / Newly Qualified Teachers in Ealing and provide important information on the statutory induction.

Mirela Temo (NQT Adviser) will outline:


  • the induction processes

  • ECT/NQT entitlements and responsibilities

  • the role of Ealing’s Appropriate Body in supporting ECTs/ NQTs and sign post them to the available support and professional development during induction period.


Recently qualified teachers will lead workshops sharing their experience of induction and provide tips and advice for you. A representative from a professional body/union will be available on the day to advise on membership.

ECTs will need to book to attend this session and receive an induction pack.
