Event description As part of the overall judgment on the quality of the school’s leadership and management, Ofsted evaluate the effectiveness the governing board in holding the leadership and management of the school to account.

This training session, aimed at governors, will give an overview of the Ofsted framework in relation to the role of governors. The session is targeted at governors from all school settings, including maintained, academies and free schools

This session will be run by Nigel Cook. Nigel has been a Headteacher in 3 schools, a Local Authority Consultant Head, a School Improvement partner (SIP), an Ofsted inspector and a School Improvement Senior Adviser in Buckinghamshire for 240 schools and a school leader and advisor spanning over 30 years.
