Event description | A governor eco schools training session – linked to new DfE eco schools regs and NGA eco schools guidance Natalie Bayliss from ActForEaling, Ealing’s new climate organisation, will be sharing with governors / leaders what schools can do to make Ealing a more sustainable place to live, work and learn. This session will explore:
Ealing Council declared a climate emergency in April 2019, and in January 2021, following consultations with local organisations and residents, the council published its Climate and Ecological Emergency Strategy. Ealing Council aims to become net carbon neutral as a borough and an organisation by 2030. Schools are highlighted as a vital public sector partner on the journey to achieving this goal. |
