This online twilight workshop aims to:
- show governors what they need to focus on and what they need to know in order to hold their school to account
- help governors to support and challenge the leadership team
- show how strengths and weaknesses are highlighted and provide guidance on to how to use the Inspection Dashboard effectively
- use data from your own school in the previous academic year
Giles Osborne is currently a School Improvement Partner, National Leader of Governance and an Ofsted Inspector. As a former Executive Headteacher and a university lecturer, he combines research and the practice of hundreds of schools he has worked with. For over five years Giles has been a chair of governors in a trust and in October 2021 the school was judged by Ofsted to be 'outstanding' for the first time in its history. |
