Short URL https://schools.ealingcpd.org.uk/courses/bookings/c_detail.asp?cid=22879
Event code SCH 23/469
Event description This course is aimed at Geography subject leaders in secondary schools. The course is insightful and explores perspectives rarely seen, focusing on addressing the knowledge and awareness gap of how historical and modern events have impacted processes across areas of study such as;

  • People and environment: processes and interactions

  • Human geography: Processes and change

The course will also ask the question, what does developing an aspirational approach towards race equality for secondary geography look like?

By the end of the course, attendees will have greater appreciation of how existing approaches can be enhanced to broaden students awareness. Practitioners go away with next steps and ideas on how to enhance their current curriculum and classroom practice to benefit all students.

Free to ELP Schools
Non-ELP Schools pay standard cost £94.50
