Safer Recruitment Training (SRT) aims to:- 1) Give participants an awareness and understanding of offender behaviour. 2) Identify the key features of staff recruitment that help deter or prevent the appointment of unsuitable people. 3) Consider policies and practices that minimise opportunities for abuse or ensure its prompt reporting. 4) Help participants begin to review their own and their organisations policies and practices with a view to making them safer.
Please note the cost of our training for Schools who do not buy our services is £300 per delegate per day. Schools who do not buy our services will be charged full fees in the event of a course cancellation of less than 14 days notice.

Schools continue to be required to ensure that a person who recruits alone or at least one member of any recruitment panel has received appropriate training in line with safeguarding guidance. Successful completion of this training will allow the school to meet this requirement.

All school staff and governors with responsibility for recruitment and selection.
