| Event description | ELP Headteacher Conference (all phases) Thursday 9th January 2020 to Friday 10th January 2020 Venue: The Runnymede on Thames Hotel and Spa, Windsor Road, Egham, Surrey, TW20 OAG Network, share experience and exchange views and ideas to inspire you, your school and your pupils: No learner left behind - no school left behind The conference is being held over two days. The excellent facilities of the Runnymede Hotel have been chosen as the venue and Headteachers are invited to attend for the two days, including accommodation and dinner. The event will include… Top keynote speakers: - Dr Kulvarn Atwal, headteacher of Highlands Primary and author of "The Thinking School" - Sir William Atkinson, who "turned around" Phoenix High School, contributed to Channel 4's "The Unteachables" and was the inspiration for Lenny Henry's character in the 1999 BBC TV series "Hope and Glory" - David Bartram OBE, specialist SEND consultant Topical workshops: - Gendered Intelligence, understanding gender diversity in creative ways - Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, Depression - let's get talking - Alan Coleman, Middlesex Cricket Coach ELP Update and feedback: - Help shape the Board's plans for the future Delegates wishing to attend should register with Imran Rasool, SBM, North Primary School by Friday October 18th 2019 via admin@north.ealing.sch.uk The cost per delegate is £650 for a two night residential place and £450 for a one night stay. Day attendance will be charged at £300 |
