Event description | Parental engagement is key for ensurng online safety of young peope. Mubina Azaria, LGFL consultant, will share key components of her holistic, multiagency approach to parental engagement. She will take you through the programme and provide the resources she uses to help parents understand the threats and pressures that their children are exposed to. The key themes of gangs, grooming, social media and gaming are covered, and ways of engaging parents, making them aware of the risks their children face, and giving them tools to talk to their children about managing these risks outside of home will be covered. |
